HNHC headlining Bug Hunter Waters parkrun

Saturday 17 August 2024
08:30 - 10:30
Rosalyn Hart

The new Bug Hunter Waters parkrun has agreed that Huntingdon and Northstowe Hockey Club can headline their event on Saturday 17 August!

Headlining means that as well as being visible as volunteers for that particular week's parkrun event, we will be able to speak about Huntingdon and Northstowe Hockey Club as part of the pre-parkrun briefing and hand out flyers after the event.

In just six events this summer, 1,276 different people have taken part in parkrun at Northstowe! With between 257 and 421 people attending each week this is a fantastic opportunity to reach active people in the local and surrounding area.

To make this headlining event a success, we need everyone in the club who can be there, to be there. Come along, wear your kit, represent the club and make a difference!

Saturday 17 August is the perfect time to recruit new members before pre-season training starts on Tuesday 20 August and Club Day takes place on Saturday 7 September.

Mark up that you can attend here - turn your little Pitchero icon green by selecting "I'M GOING"! Then please fill out this form to give Ros all the information she needs to provide for the parkrun Director. Read about the different volunteer roles that are available here.

If you have any questions at all please message Ros directly and she will be happy to help. We really do want everyone who can possibly be there to be there please. It is just a couple of hours to volunteer and then you can catch up with your hockey friends at Tap and Social afterwards!
